Deborah Fisher has had an international career in design and fashion
with some of the top fashion companies in the USA, and consults to designers
and manufacturers.
Deborah
holds qualifications in fashion, fine arts and education, having
achieved her fine arts degree at the prestigious Pratt Institute
in New York.
Having
worked as a Fashion Director for Van Buren and Carr, and later,
Product Manager for Liz Claiborne, Deborah took this experience
to ES Sutton as Director of Product Development. In
this role
she consulted to factories
in 13 countries (including Asia and Eastern Europe) to
ensure product and production capability for 6 seasonal
lines per year.
Since
returning to Australia, Deborah has spent much of her time apart
from consulting, teaching Design and Retail skills
to TAFE students and lectures part
time at Creative Industries, QUT.
